Samsung Standard Smartphone SGH-i780
Samsung SGH-i780 is a production of Sony Ericsson’s first smartphone that bears the name BizBee. This will be BizBee Samsung’s standard when producing smart phones that were marketed specifically for businesses. Because intended for businesspeople, certainly should not be too many flashy features of this smartphone and replaced with functions that are more supportive of the daily work of this business.
Impression of ‘business’ can be seen clearly from the front view similar phone-like BlackBerry. Over the upper half is consumed by the screen size 2.55 inches while the rest used to a QWERTY keyboard. Nothing special about the design of Samsung SGH-i780 this. Straight forward and robust is a clear impression want highlighted by Samsung and it seems to fit the tastes of the business.
The same impression more strongly felt when viewing the interface of the smart phones that use Microsoft operating system Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional this. Two interface options (Samsung Today 1 and Samsung Today 2) are both carrying the impression straightforward and simple although there is little difference in appearance between the two. Do not compare with HTC’s TouchFLO interface as the intended market clearly not the same. Most important, this interface works well and responsive.
Like it or not, obviously is a matter of taste and needs. But if you intend to use these gadgets for work, Samsung SGH-i780 seems no wrong choice. At least push-email protocol’s Windows Mobile 6.1 is more efficient matter of bandwidth than previous versions. As a result the battery consumption was obviously not too much.
One characteristic of the smartphone for business people is usually installed on the trackpad like a BlackBerry. Even if no difference then the Samsung chose not to use the trackpad to move to this. Instead Samsung optical sensors installed under this trackpad and ordered the cursor moves like your finger movements.
In addition, Samsung SGH-i780 also has support HSDPA networks, equipped with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. The camera was already there even a 2-megapixel size and not equipped with flash lights too. There is one unfortunate from Samsung SGH-i780 this. Although the screen is large enough but the resolution is relatively small (320 x 320). Also shown any color seems less bright.
No wonder the Trusted Reviews gives values from 10 to 7 smartphone released with a price tag of U.S. $ 430.
