Smartphone HTC HD2 touchscreen display with 5.0 Megapixel camera. HTC, Microsoft and Taiwan Mobile today announced the availability of the HTC HD2 in Europe and Taiwan. Manufacturers also announced that Windows Mobile 6.5 smartphone is also headed to the United States in early 2010. HTC did not provide details about the carrier or the price of the device, but it says it will be picked up by a “major U.S. carriers”.

HTC HD2 is equipped with 4.3-inch (480 x 800 pixels) touchscreen display, 5.0 megapixel camera with autofocus, flash and video recording, microSD / SDHC card slot, Snapdragon 1 GHz processor, 448 MB RAM / 512 MB ROM, microUSD, stereo Bluetooth 2.1 and a 3.5mm headphone jack. HD2 HTC already shipping in Europe and will begin sales in Taiwan in mid-November.
