The New BlackBerry Curve 8530 Smartphone

The new BlackBerry Curve 2 will bring EVDO Rev.A support, WiFi (b/g) connectivity, built-in GPS and a full QWERTY keyboard and a 2.0 megapixel digital camera with zoom and video recording.the new BlackBerry Curve 8530 will be available in stores starting November 20

The slim BlackBerry Curve 8530 smartphone gives customers easy access to music, games and other mobile apps for entertainment on the go. It packs dedicated media keys and a 3.5 mm stereo headset jack, and has BlackBerry Media Sync that allows you to quickly sync music from your computer to the smartphone. On top of that there’s also access to BlackBerry App World where you can browse a catalog with lots of third-party mobile applications developed specifically for RIM handsets.

Other specs include 256MB built-in storage and a microSD card slot for some extra, a rather sluggish 528MHz processor, a touch-sensitive trackpad, VZ Navigator and access to e-mail, messaging (IM, SMS, MMS) and the popular social networking websites.BlackBerry Curve 8530 (Curve 2) will cost $99.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate and should be available in black and smoky violet.
